In 2010, almost nobody in Spain could explain what CrossFit actually was. There was no community like the one that exists today. No major competitions, no box on every corner, no brands lining up to attach themselves to the movement. Just hard training, people chasing their limits, and a completely different way of understanding health and performance.
That's where Adrián started. Fifteen years later, that same box-floor education has produced two European brands built by and for the same community that raised him: GoPrimal and The Nude Foot.
CrossFit Before It Was a Movement
Long before "functional fitness," "hybrid athlete" or "Hyrox" were part of the everyday vocabulary in European gyms, Adrián was already living that world from the inside. Training wasn't a trend — it was a daily discipline built on strength, mobility, recovery, and a level of honesty about your own limitations that few other sports demand.
For Adrián, CrossFit never stayed just a way of training. It became a school of life, and the starting point for two separate projects, each solving a problem he lived first-hand as an athlete.
GoPrimal: Supplementation Built From Inside the Box
GoPrimal was born in 2011 out of a simple need: finding sports supplementation that was effective, clean, and actually trustworthy. At the time, the market was full of promises and short on transparency.
Adrián wanted to create the products he himself was searching for as an athlete — useful formulas, quality ingredients, real dosages, and full transparency on the label. No miracle claims, no filler ingredients added purely for marketing.
Over time, GoPrimal grew alongside the community that inspired it. What started as a small brand born inside a CrossFit box became a trusted name supporting athletes, boxes and competitions across Europe — one of the clearest examples of a supplement brand built by the functional training community, for the functional training community.
A Question That Changed Everything
After years of training, another question kept surfacing: why do athletes obsess over technique, mobility and recovery, but still train every day in shoes that restrict the natural function of the foot?
Stiff soles. Narrow toe boxes. Elevated heels that quietly shift load and balance out of alignment. The same foot that has to grip the floor on a deadlift, stabilize a heavy overhead lockout, and absorb a box-jump landing was being asked to do all of that inside a shoe designed for anything but ground contact.
That question is where The Nude Foot was born.
The Nude Foot: Barefoot Shoes Built for the Box — and the Street
The Nude Foot is a Spanish barefoot shoe brand created to give the foot back its space, stability, and freedom of movement. Every pair is built around a foot-shaped last, a genuinely wide toe box, zero drop, and a thin, flexible sole that lets the foot feel and react to the ground instead of being isolated from it.
The goal was never to design just another minimalist shoe. It was to design a shoe that performs inside the box during a WOD, holds up through a Hyrox sled push, and still looks right worn outside the gym for the rest of the day — stability for lifting, freedom for moving, and a design that doesn't scream "technical footwear" the moment you walk into a café.
Why CrossFit, Functional Fitness and Hybrid Training
Building two brands inside the same corner of the fitness world wasn't a coincidence. Adrián has spent over fifteen years building European-recognized brands inside the healthy lifestyle space, and the CrossFit, functional fitness and hybrid training community has always been the natural home for that work.
It's the segment of European fitness that pushes hardest on health and performance at the same time — the community most willing to question a legacy shoe category, read an ingredient label, and change a habit once the evidence is there. Athletes training for Hyrox, CrossFit competitions, or a hybrid running-and-strength program in Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam or Madrid don't just want a product that works. They want to understand why it works, and that's exactly the standard both GoPrimal and The Nude Foot were built to meet.
Two Brands, One Origin
GoPrimal and The Nude Foot are two different brands, but they share the same fifteen-plus years of living CrossFit from the inside.
One works on what happens inside the body. The other starts with the foundation that connects the body to the ground. Both were born from real problems experienced on the training floor, and both follow the same understanding of performance:
Health is the foundation. Progress is the result.
Two Spanish brands built from inside the CrossFit community, created to help people train more, move better, and build a body — and a pair of feet — ready for anything.
